Warehouse Supervisor

My client is seeking a highly committed, hands-on leader to step into the crucial role of Warehouse Supervisor in their new facility in Adelaide's Northern Suburbs.

The Opportunity

This role is the Second-in-Command (2IC) for our South Australian operations, ensuring the efficient and effective running of the warehouse and delivery functions. You will be critical to maintaining seamless continuity of operations, often acting as the SA Operations Manager during their absence.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a dynamic range of tasks:

• Act as 2IC and stand in for the SA Operations Manager as required.
• Lead and supervise the SA driver team and warehouse staff, ensuring optimal use of transport assets and service quality.
• Oversee the end-to-end management of goods, including planning the unloading/scanning and staging/reloading of linehaul goods for local deliveries.
• Manage the unloading, wrapping, and put-away of inbound containers.
• Ensure strict adherence to all company procedures, safety standards, and OHS policies, including conducting regular toolbox talks.
• Serve as a backup driver during emergency or peak periods.
• Support and promote continuous improvement across both warehouse and transport functions.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in transport, warehouse, or logistics operations.
• Current Forklift Licence (LF).
• Strong understanding of WMS systems and RF scanning processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of delivery planning and scheduling.
• Excellent hands-on leadership and effective communication skills (both verbal and written).

Highly Desirable

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a similar environment.
• MR Truck Licence or Higher.
• Experience with receiving and dispatch management.
